Entrepreneur, Educator, Community Builder, Internationalist, Student,

 Mr. Andrew Stephen is the Strategic Director at Canadian Independent College (www.cicbaden.ca). Canadian Independent College (CIC), formerly the North Wilmot School founded in 1964, is located on 11 acres of picturesque valley in the Waterloo Region. The college is in one of the Canada's fastest growing technological and economic areas, often called Canada's Technology Triangle.
As Rotary Scholar, he attended the prestigious McQuade Jesuit School in Rochester, New York. He has attended various training programs and obtained management training from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Broome College, Binghamton University, FTU, and Sinte Gleska University.

He is a devoted father and still finds time for others in the community. Mr. Stephen has served as Chairman of the Canadian Mental Health Board, Peel Region. In this position, he advocated for better funding and care for those stricken with mental illness in the Greater Toronto Area and Peel region. As well Mr. Stephen found time to lecture at Peel Board Community Education where he trained and taught supervisory and management skills and the organizational behavior models.

In the past, Mr. Stephen was the registrar and administrative officer at Bronte College of Canada, in Mississauga, Ontario and helped establish and grow their International student population. In previous years he has taught courses in economics, management, business law, human resources, administrative studies, International development, and marketing.  For several years, Mr. Stephen conducted a series of lectures and workshops on: management foundations, corporate social responsibility, ethics, effective supervision, leadership models, marketing strategy, organizing, planning, and multiculturalism/race relations for both profit and non-profit organizations in the U.S.A, Caribbean, Africa, and Canada. He is highly committed to serving the needs of frontline managers and students in all types of organizational settings.

An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Stephen had co- founded an International art and educational center named Global Elegance Inc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was responsible for the development of various learning opportunities projects, such as: (1)The African American Leadership Initiative for the American Youth Foundation (2) Micro Management for the American Science Foundation (3) Tribal Economic Development for the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation Youth Program. These programs were designed to assist managers, students, and community agencies to improve their business and management skills on their path to becoming more efficient and effective in the global economy.
